To me it sounds like a lot of work. I think the images are nice, but not great. Only you can decide if the final product is worth the cumulative effort to create. I think the edges are interesting, but ultimately detract from the subject matter, it is difficult to appreciate both the edge and the subject in the same work. While I like looking at them on your website, they are not something I would pay for or hang on my wall. Let me say that I am a big fan of your work in general, and I think Apple is likely holding you back. I would be surprised if they really use your talent to its potential, but on the other hand does any employer really maximize the use of employee talent? If I were an Oakley or advertising executive, I would snap you up in a second. If you want to make more money consider using a recruiter or head hunter, its an easy way to network and get past the front door at large companies. If you want a small start up company experience where you get a piece of equity, stock options, browse the websites of venture capitalist where they often list their start up companies, then contact the company founders directly because there is no HR department at this level. Sorry for all of the unsolicited advice, I know that can be annoying, but I just think your too talented for your current position.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
