Back from vacation

Jer and I got back from vacation yesterday afternoon. Aside from hurricane Fay dumping rain on us the first three days we were there, the vacation was amazing. Seaside Florida was only 30min away from where we were staying, so we ended up going almost everyday. For those of you that don't know, Seaside is where the movie "The Truman Show" was filmed. The town was very cool with houses ranging from $600K-$5M! We ate at a little place called the Great Southern Cafe. The food was perfect, we ended up eating there three times.

Then there was the little town of Alys Beach that was founded as a beacon for those who create and admire beautiful design. The town is still very new and no way near completion, so it will be interesting to see how the town has grown when we go back in a few years.

I took loads of pictures, even brought along my polaroid which people gave me funny looks because it is so out dated, but the photos came out very cool. I posted a lot in the blog but I got more on flickr. Be sure to check out:

Vacationing with Fay

Well guys, this is my last post until I get back from vacation. Jer and I are flying to Panama City Beach Florida for a week. I was very excited, however we're going to be right in the path of hurricane Fay and it's supposed to rain the whole week. I'll be so pissed if it does because I've been wanting to photograph Seaside (about 30min from Panama City) ever since the movie "The Truman Show" came out in 1998.

You can track Fay on weatherunderground.com or me on twitter while I'm away.

2009 Acura TL Photoshoot

On August 8th I got the call back to do a third photo shoot for Honda. This time it was the new Acura TL. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. When the car first arrived, it had all the logos covered up, two guys would pull the covers so I could do my thing then recover when the car was moved to a new location, (it was still in "secret" mode). This morning I got the go ahead to post some images. Honda will be using these images for general/media PR. I'm happy they liked them. I get to do my forth photo shoot with them next month, doing some exterior building shots for their website.
