Majestic Galleries

This past Friday I had my first gallery showing. 12 of my tiny planets are in a little gallery in Nelsonville Ohio called Majestic Galleries. The gallery is a co-op and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to show my work. I'm also doing the website for the gallery since they have been without one for the past two years.

Above are 12 of my tiny planets. The following images are just the gallery space.

iPod Recycling Speaker

Save a little bit of plastic and gain some DIY accomplishment with the iPod Recycling Speaker ($40). Fitting perfectly in the packaging for the iPod Nano (1st & 2nd Gen.) and iPod Shuffle (2nd & 3rd Gen.), the easy-to-install set requires no power and works with any device with a standard headphone jack.

Hummer HX Concept

According to insiders, you're looking at the basis for the upcoming H4 — but whether they call it HX, H4, or H-ellion, it's pretty hard-ass. The Hummer HX Concept ($TBA) is all-Hummer, with full-time 4WD, 35-inch tires, an advanced front suspension with an electronic-disconnecting stabilizer bar, and an E85 FlexFuel 3.6L SIDI V-6. However, it also borrows some ideas long assocoiated with rival Jeep, including a removable roof panels, doors, and fender flares, and a modular rear roof assembly that can also be completely removed, turning the HX into a true convertible.

Cloverfield

I went to see Cloverfield last night. It took about 20 minutes before anything cool happened. The movie was a mix between War of the Worlds, Godzilla & Blair Witch. Everything was shot through a handheld camera so there was a lot of bouncing around. The special effects were amazing, it was interesting seeing how it would look on a camcorder as if you were really filming it. Not too much of a plot tho, the whole movie is supposed to take place over 7 hours. The actual movie was a hour and a half long, just long enough to fill the tape in the camcorder. All and all it was worth the $7.

Magic Fireballs

Oh, btw, I've been super busy with getting my gallery showing together that's why I haven't posted in a while. Things will cool down after next weekend. I should have some vids/pics to post of it.

I'm still around

Hi guys, sorry for not posting in forever. I've been busy trying to do the photography thing. I already got one gallery that wants my tiny planets and today I just talked to another gallery owner that seems interested in them. I have a meeting with him this thursday so I hope I get in. I really hope this is the year of photography for me. Oh, and I have a question for ya. I have yet to register a business name with a tax ID and all that and actually file with the government . Will I get in trouble if the IRS ever audits me from all the images I've already sold?
